What Editor Solar is

The editor runs in your browser, with no account and nothing to install. You build a diagram by dragging panels, inverters, batteries, protection devices and loads, connect the equipment and export the drawing as PNG, SVG or PDF. It is meant for studying an installation, comparing architectures and explaining an idea to someone else.

Besides the editor, this site offers explanatory tutorials and ready-made diagram templates you can open and adapt. The editor does not perform electrical calculations or validate designs.

Who maintains it

Editor Solar is developed and maintained by Danilo Nascimento as an individual project. Each article shows its author and publication date, and the site’s content is published under his responsibility.

How the content is made

Each tutorial starts from a common question, explains the concept with a worked numerical example and includes a diagram you can open and edit in the editor itself. The example values are for teaching. The equipment in the editor’s catalog uses figures checked against manufacturers’ official datasheets, with the source recorded.

Articles and templates are published in nine languages, with the same diagrams. The material is educational: sizing, choice of protection devices and installation must be done by a qualified professional, following local standards and utility requirements.

How the site is funded

The tutorials and template pages may show Google AdSense ads, and only after you give permission. The editor never shows ads. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
