Who I am

I am an industrial technician with 18 years of experience in the oil industry, and I also have a background in Business Administration and Computer Science. I have always been interested in how systems work and, above all, how they can be improved.

In recent years this interest has taken up a good part of my free time. Solar energy, electric vehicles, home automation, electronics, artificial intelligence and building small systems have become some of the subjects I study and experiment with the most, in practice.

Why I created Editor Solar

Editor Solar was born precisely from this combination.

While planning and following my own photovoltaic system, I realized that many of the available tools were aimed at specialized professionals or required more complex software than needed to simply put an idea on paper. My intention was to create something different: a visual, simple and accessible tool to draw solar systems, organize their components and better understand how everything connects.

What this project is and is not

I am not an engineering company, nor do I intend to replace the work of designers, electricians or engineers. Editor Solar is an independent project, created out of curiosity, learning and the wish to turn technical knowledge into useful tools.

Much of what I build follows the same philosophy: learn by building, test ideas and try to make technical subjects a little easier to understand.

How the texts are made

I use artificial intelligence tools as support for writing and translating the texts; the decisions, the checking of the examples and the publishing are mine. The example values are for teaching, and sizing and installation must be done by a qualified professional.

Where the project is going

Editor Solar will keep evolving as new ideas come up, always trying to keep what I consider most important in the project: simplicity, usefulness and the freedom to experiment.
